FAQ
-
Which printers is it compatible with?
Our DTF film is compatible with most DTF printers, including:
- Epson-based printheads (XP600 / i1600 / i3200)
- Commercial and desktop DTF systems
-
What is the difference between Cold Peel and Hot Peel DTF Film?
Cold Peel DTF Film needs to cool completely after heat pressing before the film can be peeled off. It offers a stable and reliable transfer process and is suitable for beginners and small-batch production.
Hot Peel DTF Film can be peeled immediately after heat pressing while the film is still hot. It saves cooling time and improves production efficiency, making it ideal for high-volume and commercial printing..
-
Will high humidity affect the transfer film?
Yes. The transfer film has a certain level of moisture sensitivity.
We recommend keeping the working environment humidity below 60% to ensure optimal printing and transfer performance. -
What temperature should I heat press at?
Hot stamping temperature:155- 160°C,
Pressure: 0.6Mpa, Time : 8-10 seconds,
After pressing and ironing,it can be torn hot or cold
-
Can I use third-party ink?
Yes, you can use third-party ink.
However, we recommend using high-quality DTF pigment ink to ensure stable printing performance and color results. -
What Are the Benefits of Double-Sided Matte DTF Film?
Reduced Glare: Matte surfaces make the film easier to handle, align, and position.
Less Static & Sticking: Helps reduce static and unwanted film-to-film sticking.
Even Ink Absorption: The specially treated printing surface helps ink spread evenly for sharp, detailed prints.
Easy Powder Application: Promotes even adhesion of DTF hot-melt powder for consistent transfers.
Professional Performance: Ideal for DTF printing, heat pressing, and high-volume production.
-
Can DTF transfer paper be used in a standard printer?
No. DTF transfer film is designed for use with a dedicated DTF printer and DTF ink.
For DTF printing, you need a dedicated DTF printer because it uses special DTF ink (including white ink) and requires the correct ink delivery system and printing settings. A regular inkjet printer generally cannot print DTF transfers properly, especially with white ink. -
What Materials Are Suitable for DTF Transfers?
DTF transfers are highly versatile and can be applied to most textile fabrics, especially cotton, polyester, cotton-polyester blends, and many other fabric blends. They work well on both light and dark-colored garments because the white ink provides a solid base layer for the design.
DTF is commonly used for T-shirts, hoodies, sweatshirts, jackets, tote bags, uniforms, and other fabric products.
-
What is the most suitable temperature for storage?
The recommended storage conditions are:
Store indoors at a temperature range of 0°C to 40°C (32°F to 104°F).
Keep the film in a dry and cool environment, stored off the ground, and avoid moisture, impact, and heavy pressure. -
Do you provide technical support?
Yes, we provide full technical support.
Our team can assist with printing settings, troubleshooting, and guidance on achieving the best transfer results. -
Will the Garment Have an Oily or Greasy Residue When Using Your DTF Film?
No. When used correctly with compatible DTF ink and hot-melt powder, our DTF transfer film should not leave oily or greasy stains on garments.
For the best results:
- Use compatible DTF ink and powder.
- Apply and cure the powder evenly.
- Follow the recommended heat-press temperature, pressure, and time.
- Avoid excess powder or overheating.
